DESCRIPTION
The Pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Aalma (review project 7) shared with us his plan of having a program for mothers’ day. The invitation was extended to all the mothers of the village. The aim of the program was to have a time of fellowship and to honor mothers.
Heart for Lebanon partnered with the Church to provide ninety pajamas which can be presented as a gift to the mothers of the village.
On the 20th of March the program took place. It included songs by the children and the church choir, bible readings, prayer, fellowship time and selecting the mother of the year. At the end of the program all the mothers got their gift.
Our goal was to encourage and assist the Presbyterian Church in its ministry in the village as well as appreciate the mothers on their special day.
