DESCRIPTION
“Spring of Life” is a charitable association whose goal is to offer aid to the poor families of Burj Hammoud, in the suburbs of Beirut , and the surrounding areas. Around 400 registered families come to the “Spring of Life” center every Saturday to receive their portions which include grains, various vegetables, clothes, shoes, toys, etc…
“Tahaddi” (i.e. challenge in Arabic) is a compassion ministry working in Shantytown, in the suburbs of Beirut Tahaddi reaches extremely poor families through a dispensary with free access to primary care, literacy classes for children excluded from normal schooling for economic reasons, and visiting women's prisons.
Heart for Lebanon has partnered with “Spring of Life” and “Tahaddi”. We provided them with clothing to be distributed to the children of poor families to whom they minister.
